Shipping Instructions
Packages must be delivered to a UPS location. UPS drop boxes are not eligible. E-Label must be used within 30 days of receipt. Find the nearest UPS location to your address at http://www.ups.com/dropoff?loc=en_US

Total package weight must be < 10 lbs. If you have more than 10 lbs, please contact erecycle@microsoft.com to make alternate arrangements.

Service is only available in the continental US. All user removable batteries must be removed and NOT shipped with the product. By shipping this product you agree to remove all batteries.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS. BY ORDERING THIS SERVICE, YOU ARE INDICATING THAT YOU HAVE READ AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

Service Overview:
The Hardware Recycling Service provides a way for consumers to recycle certain Microsoft Hardware including those with the brand names Xbox, Xbox 360, Zune, and Sidewinder, referred to as "Microsoft Branded Hardware"). If non-Microsoft Branded Hardware is sought to be recycled via this program, the requester may be required to provide proof of purchase of a similar or same type of Microsoft Branded Hardware product.

Customer Responsibilities:
Microsoft assumes no responsibility for the loss or confidentiality of customer data on recycled equipment.

Before shipping equipment, you should: You must pack and ship the products in accordance with Microsoft’s instructions, including but not limited to, instructions regarding weight limitations and quantity and types of items to be recycled. You must make the packaged products available for shipment by the carrier identified by Microsoft.

You will ensure that the material shipped is only Microsoft Branded Hardware and no other products or materials. You also will ensure that the products shipped match the products described in your order and does not include any hazardous materials.

Once the hardware has been shipped, Microsoft cannot return it to you. Participation in this program constitutes a relinquishment of all rights to and in the hardware and other related materials sent to Microsoft.
No Contaminated Products:
This service is not intended for products that are or have become contaminated or suspected of being contaminated with chemicals, biological agents or other substances that are not integral to the original new equipment or otherwise associated with normal office or household environments. Products that may be contaminated must be decontaminated prior to recycling.

If you fail to comply with the terms and conditions of this Contract, then Microsoft is not obligated to provide the service to you. In addition, the carrier may refuse shipment and you may incur additional fees.

Limitation of Liability:
Microsoft provides this service as an accommodation and accepts no liability to any person for any services performed in connection with the recycling offered in these terms, and specifically disclaims liability for lost profits, loss of business, or other consequential, special, indirect, or punitive damages, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

General:
Microsoft does not represent that you are eligible for a charitable tax deduction as a result of using this service. Microsoft reserves the right to change, without notice, the Terms and Conditions or end or modify the program at any time.
